1st Half

 

Fry’s straight on the defensive as Coalpit Heath start strong. Fry’s clear the ball but it falls to a Coalpit Heath midfielder who shoots and scores 1- 0. Liam blocks and clears. Fry’s start to build with Mitchell attacking on the left but Coalpit Heath defend well. Liam is called into action again as Coalpit Heath attack.  Ollie is strong in midfield and nicks the ball, he breaks up the right and crosses to Mitchell who shoots just wide. Ollie and Mitchell combine well resulting in another near miss.  Liam and Harry work well and clear an attacking run by Coalpit Heath. Fry’s concede a second goal which was well worked by Coalpit Heath. Charlie shoots from midfield and narrowly misses.

 

Although Fry’s are 2-0 down they are full of effort and committed and if some of the chances were finished we would be looking at a different game.

 

 

 

2nd Half

 

Joe on for Jordan.

 

Liam strong in defence and clears an early attack, Charlie and Mitchell push up through midfield. Charlie shoots and hits the cross bar. Joe through on goal but rushes it and shoots wide. Coalpit Heath attacking but Fry’s work well as a team and defend; Sam keeps the score to 2-0 with safe hands in goal. Charlie is working hard in Midfield, and backing up our defence.  Mitchell attacking on the right wing and shoots with a good effort. Ollie on the right puts in a cross which is defended well by Coalpit Heath. Joe attacks through the middle and shoots but the goal keeper is well placed to save the ball. Coalpit Heath is on the attack but Fry’s are equal in defending and work well as a unit.

1^st Half

 

Coalpit Heath kick off and Fry’s attack through the middle. Lewis H drives it through the goal keeper for Fry’s to go 0-1. Coalpit Heath attack but Ollie is well up for it and collects the ball. Fry’s are keeping shape and are dominating the game. Coalpit Heath are awarded a hand ball on the edge of the box, they take it early but it comes to nothing.

 

Jamie on for Nathaniel.

 

Coalpit Heath are starting to build through midfield and shoot. Ollie saves with his head. Coalpit Heath awarded another free kick which results in a goal 1-1. A good through ball by Ben sends Lewis G on a one to one with the last defender, but Coalpit Heath rally and clear the ball. Morgan working hard in defence and making light work of Coalpit Heaths attacks.

 

2^nd Half

 

Sam on for Jamie.

Kieron on for Jacob.

 

Ollie is called into action early and saves well, Morgan and kieron looking strong at back and defending well. Ollie and Morgan are called upon again and are both working hard to keep out Coalpit Heath.

 

James on for Sam.

 

Ollie is having an outstanding game in goal, defensive error lead to Coalpit Heath’s second goal 2-1.

 

Jacob on for Kieron.

 

Coalpit Heath are using the sloping pitch to great advantage, but Morgan is there defending and clearing the ball. Coalpit Heath shoot and Ollie gets a hand to it but it just creeps into the corner.
